I started Time to Paws in November 2017 and amended the name to Time to Paws Behaviour Consulting in 2022
It initially began to provide people and their dogs the help and care they needed, when they needed it.  It has since grown in strength and knowledge to work with aggressive dogs.

I love dogs of any age, shape and size from the wicked mischievous personalities of the youngsters to the stubbornest elderly dog or bitch and everything in between.

Many people want that little canine in their home but some do very little or no research in their chosen breed and purchase/rehome a canine without understanding the breed traits and requirements this combined with work/family commitments can lead to improper boundaries; insufficient socialisation and training plus a lack of manners resulting in a very much loved puppy or dog with very unwanted behaviours.

Contact me and I will be more than pleased to sit with you to discuss what your needs are.

The Basic Principles for Working with Dogs

Mutual trust

Can dogs and humans see eye to eye?
This isn't always a natural process.  Quite often your pup or dog will be unsure how to read you especially in the early days of your relationship.  This trust has to be built, and can be built - we can show you how.

A gentle touch

A dog can and is able to sense fear and uncertainty.  Your attitude towards your dog whether young or old will impact how he behaves with you and your family.  This uncertainty can cause fear and anxiety in the dog leading to aggression - we can teach you how to read your dog.

No punishment

We do not believe in punishing a pup or a dog.  There is no place for this outdated method in our society.  We know that with the correct motivation and reward, almost anything can be achieved from your pet.  Reward is always the best way.
